Atlanta Girls School

These girls (above) are from the Atlanta Girls School. Their art teacher, Mrs. Joss, had them watch my blog this year as a class assignment, and even gave them a quiz - about me! So since I was going to be in town anyway they asked me to come by and say hello. I felt like a celebrity! They had some great questions for me - surprisingly grown-up questions, and afterwards we all trooped out the garden to get a group photo. As they were lining up I realized to my horror that many were taller than me and I was going to blend right in! So here's your pop-quiz - where is Carol?

Indeed, you must have felt honored! But, also, what an inspiring experience for those lovely young ladies this year. Bravo!!!

hmmmm,as i'm reading your blog i wonder if Mrs. Joss was my good friend when I lived in Atlanta? She was an excellent artist and her name is Susan Joss... that would be a real coincidence! Patti M.

What a great experience this must have been for the girls and for you! All you needed was a school uniform and we'd never be able to find you then. These girls can truly be called "Carol's Kids"

I love this photo and the whole experience behind it. You ARE a celebrity! And to think that I have known you since you were a mere school girl! ;-)

What a great thing. I had the opportunity to do a workshop with an Art 4 class at my daughter's high school a few years ago. It was energizing see these kids jumping into art with no inhibitions about how something should be done. I was astounded by their creativity. You are such an inspiration to all. Keep up the good work!
