This is my entry for this week's Daily Paintworks Challenge. It's the Color Challenge, and the rules are to choose a color scheme, and use only those colors. I chose one of my favorite schemes, which is a combination of complementary and split-complementary. I used orange, blue, turquoise and purple, with a dominant amount of orange.

Do you mean you can use only four tube colors of paint? Or could you for use for example cad yellow light and cad yellow medium and count that as one color?
Man, that WORKS! I always forget to use the color formulas! Thanks for the reminder and the wonderful painting and challenge!
Hmm, isn't choosing a combination of complementary and split-complementary cheating a little. ;). Nice work as always!
The blue really pops when it's surrounded by all those complementary colors. This was a great challenge-- keeps us pushing ourselves! Thanks Carol!
