I love the colors in this, Carol. Love the lime green on the edges of the apple and the hot pink in the plate. I wish I could see color like that when I paint!
Thanks for demonstrating that a good painting can still be done even with tax-fried brains! Love the matt turquoise and the luminous red reflection on the plate.

I like this one - and I love the title! Oh, those elipses - NAILED! :)
OK, so your taxes are DONE - good!
Carol: It is cruel and unusual to do your own taxes.
I like the new painting. You always paint knives so well. Is it a big knife or a small apple?

Thanks you guys!
Frank, it's a small apple AND a big knife. : )

This one has such a rich quality to it, great values and love the blue.
Uch - taxes! Impressive you managed to paint afterwards! Love the reds peeking through the blue.
taxes huh? So appropriate, that huge butcher knife. Is that a slice of apple missing?
I am not sure about your brain, but this piece is beautiful. No matter how you slice it.
I love your color palette! It's so bright and cheerful!!
I love how vibrant the colors are on the apple and the plate.
What a great idea-stacking the apple slices this way!
Looking at the apple slices I can hear the sound if the knife cutting them, and my mouth is watering...
