"Don't Crowd Me" - SOLD

It's great to be back in the groove of painting again. I feel I do my best stuff once I've been steadily painting for a little while. Additionally, when I first get back to my studio I'm not sure exactly what to paint, but once I've done a few the ideas start flowing.

Nice color play - I really like the warm feeling of the painting, and especially the little green apple!

Boy, isn't that the truth: it takes me a while to "get back into the groove".
Love the reflections here on the little white bowl and the reflected apple!

I love the jewel tones in this one Carol. And yes, I do so appreciate that gorgeous reflection of the apple in the side of cup. Took me a few moments to even notice it, so you're right, when it's done well it adds to painting quietly but beautifully.

Nice deep colors. This painting feels like you looking into a downtown street with lots of sky scrapers looming above.
