I've been sneaking these apples in quite a bit lately, but I do love 'em. They're apples, and they're green. You can't get much better than that.

More jewel tones. All of my favorite colors. Love it.

COLOUR IS INTOXICATING! I could draw this and shade it with all dexterity and skill but I don't think it would jump at me with such force as this piece does. A remarkable Tour de force by a Consistent, disciplined and powerful painter-I never tire coming here!

Love the blue green in the backdrop. Everything just blends so seamlessly together.

You handle the light so quickly; obviously you have studied this.

I love the frightened look of the mug. Those apples are being bullies.
(maybe you should paint a follow-up with the mug triumphant and the apples all sliced up)

Great variety of blues. Love the way the apple reflections take on a greener tone because of the blue. You continue to amaze and inspire!!!

ps~ I'm loving your new book!

Ooh Carol, what mouthwatering colour! I love how you show an exact half of the colour wheel, from yellow round to violet. Truly a picture worth a thousand words not to mention indepth study to work out just HOW you do that thang you do.
