"Romeo & Juliet" - SOLD

More cherries AND a picture of the German market I wrote about yesterday. There was a hill nearby that we climbed (slippery) and at the top of it we had this view. Then Jacob (5) and I slid down in a very small fraction of the time it took to get up. Veil spas! (Much fun!)

I've just found this site and looked through the site. I think it's a neat concept, to post a painting a day. I'm curious, how long does it take you about to do one painting? I'm doing abstract colored pencil sketches and a few rare paintings, and one drawing (16X20 size) can take me all day for a simple one.

Carol, sometimes I marvel at the wavelength we share. Its happened before and here i goes again - I'm just set to paint a couple of little cherries, and wham! Here's a couple you did already! Neat, very neat.

Thank you all so much! Your comments are very much appreciated!!

Sarah, my official answer to (how long does it take to paint one?) is a lifetime. : ) But practically, from design to finish, about 2 hours on average.

Anne, the picture from Germany - it's a bridge. While we were there a couple of trains went over.

Ok, back the Gluhwein!! : )

Super painting. I love the photo from Germany! What a fantastic thing for you and your family, especially your son! Christmas in Germany! Wow! I bet you can eat some great Stollen, and other wonderful German dishes. My background is from Sweden and England, no German, so .... God Jul och Gott Nytt År!

Whoa-That photo... what the..? Is that a photo or a rendering?
Not to dismis your paintings ( I always drool over your brushwork) but really is that a photo of the bridge or not?

That photo is fabulous. If you hadn't told us it looks like a miniature 'toy' village.
I remember some scenes like this from my childhood in Germany. Enchanting.

The painting is well...slam bangin' like always.
I particularly like the color triad here!
