"Hiding Red" - SOLD

Here is another painting from before I left for Germany. I am always up for painting something peeking out from behind glass - always fun. And here today we ventured out into the cold and snow to an outdoor Weihnachten (Christmas) Market. It was under a beautiful old bridge and everything was so spectacular it was unreal. Prima!

I LOVE it. (all caps, I really, really love it).

That strip of vertical blue on the front of it is one of my favorite parts.

Lovely! I particularly like the way the value of the apple changes from the front of the bottle to the back. You continue to amaze and inspire!

Just got your Small Paintings Vol. 2.
WOW!

Love the subtle shifts in color and your use of directional strokes. My favorite stroke is the beautiful blue on the bottle. It is a treat to hear about your adventures away from home.

Perfect compostion and spontaneous luscious paint handling. Virtuoso brush work (not a stroke too many or too few), as if the paint was jumping off onto the canvas. The reflections and refractions of color and light in the bottle is genious. It is a special little gem of a paiting!
