"Reflecting on Blue" - SOLD

It was SO hard getting those reflections just right. I think reflections are particularly tough because they're so easy to overdo. The trick is get them just right. You might not notice them in particular, but you would notice if they were wrong. Right?
I just listed a workshop in Canada to my schedule - in summer 2011. Please email me if you're interested, thanks!

This is wonderful!! Complimentary colors work their magic, as do your masterful brush strokes.

Wow Carol, this is such a strong piece. Just love the lighting in it and the darker background. I think you nailed the reflections.

Ack! I wanted to congratulate you on your 4th year of doing "Painting a Day" on the very day of your anniversary but I missed it by 2 days! Thanks for inspiring me with your juicy, colorful paintings and for all the advice you've shared. I always look forward to seeing what you've posted!

Awesome! I can taste those sweet oranges. The cups are wonderful. Your work is so full of life, it inspires me even though I have never painted.
My art is photography...yet I'm so drawn to your colors and textures.
Wonderful.
