"Love on a Runway" - SOLD

I lucked upon these two connected cherries recently at our Central Market, with a tiny little leaf to boot. I don't think it gets any cuter than this.

Wow! I'm speechless. Not about the painting which, is of course, a beauty, but, after signing up for your emails twice early this year, it's the first I've ever
received! Kudos to the technology that's finally working! But more importantly, it is wonderful to find your beautiful painting in my inbox!

Carol, you're absolutely right---it doesn't get any cuter than this! I love cherry paintings, and especially love this one.

AHH! It's the little things that make an artist happy. Like connected cherries with a leaf still attached.

You come up with the greatest titles! Really like this one.

Beautiful colors--love the aqua against the red. I also like how the aqua is darkest at the top and very bright next to the cherries. I really adds dimension to the painting. You have such a good eye!

Hey Carol,

In my daily painting practice, I am finding it is some days taking me almost as long to figure out what exactly I am going to paint as it does to do the painting...after all these paintings, does that happen to you? Just curious. You seem endlessly creative.

Thanks all!!

Gaye, yes, I know EXACTLY what you mean. The longer I paint, the longer it takes me to set up a still life. For sure. But they're getting better, right? Yours I mean. : )
