I have 2 photos of these cows - one of them looking away (this one) and one of them looking right at me. That's the problem with cows - they're TOO curious. This was late in the day with just glancing light, which made their legs do fabulous things. That pink isn't made up.

OMG- they are awesome! I love their expression... and the light on them is so beautiful! I love days like that & you've captured it so well!
Beautiful light and composition! I believe the pink, too.- Cary
They are too curious indeed. Last week I was taking some reference pictures of cows and within a minute I had a huge audience :)
Love the light here.
i love the cow paintings!! Hope to see more.
Wonderful! I love the block-effect of the brushwork, and the pinks that give the glow a zip. I love to study your paintings.
These are fabulous!! Why did I have to go all the way to Australia to find you? (Pintangle) I was born right here in Austin - and here I am! (designing needlepoint and making pottery)
I really like this one - a Texas sunset will do that!

Beautiful.
The light is awesome on this painting and the composition/value patterns works beautifully. I love the way you block in the darks.
Wonderful cow paintings! I agree with you that cows are NOT very cooperative. Maybe those German cows were a bit more cooperative than all the hill country cows I photograph. :)
