This is another one I didn't have time to paint on location (backstreet in Rico, CO), so I snapped a photo. I was really taken by the succession of cars, from behind.
Yesterday's car turns out to be, well, probably an old Volvo. Possibly a Studebaker? Thank you to those who wrote!! And thank you all, in general, SO much for all the wonderful comments you leave every day! I can't tell you how much they mean to me. I wish I had time to respond to every one. THANK YOU!!

Hi Carol: I was wondering your thoughts on working from photos, since the last couple of great car paintings have been done from photos.
Thanks and keep up the super work!
Sharon
Love this,realy enjoyable.
Absolutely loving this series of car paintings you're doing, Carol. They have a wonderful charming quality to them.
I love this painting. It has great balance, and the reflections attract. Would make a great 'big' painting, maybe a metre square!
Fantastic composition, great vibe
Carol, I really love the new direction you've taken with these beautiful paintings.
Carol,
I love this composition. How you manage to cram so much into 6"x6" is a miracle, especially when you make it look so effortless. Great job!
(I'd be interested to see the original photo, just to see what you did to transformed it...)
i really like the drama of this one - all the cars emerging from/merged into the shadows, and the play of the reds & greens! thank you for sharing this!
