I want to take a minute and mention a couple of up and coming daily painters, both previous kids of mine (not that I take ANY credit). One started painting daily last August (posting in February): Karen Werner. The other recently celebrated 365 days of straight, honest, one painting every single day (way more diligent than I): Lisa Daria. Both going along swimmingly. Check 'em out.

Love the colors you choose - red, yellow and green. Really warm and cheerful. And I love how the shadow of the knife crosses the canvas at an interesting angle. Love your apple paintings so much!

Yeah, this is like a landscape.
Like everyone,I too love your work and this is one of my fav's..but I really liked the German landscapes too.One thing tho...on this painting,the cup holding the knife..to me it looks like it had a lid on it.maybe it did..and who cares.You are the very best Carol!
