Still here in Sedona and having a very ... fabulous time ... while cold. We went to a nearby town today to paint - Jerome - and spent the morning actually IN the pouring rain - dumping out my box from time to time. By the time I finished my clothes were soaked through and I was shaking from the cold. But we all warmed up in a restaurant with coffee, food and art talk. And when we finished and went back outside - you won't beleive this - it was SNOWING! In April. Wow.
I've actually done a couple of paintings I'm proud of, which I will post as soon as I can get a good photo. More soon ...

I love the pile of egg shells in this. Well done. Painting outside is not for the faint of heart, is it? Look forward to seeing your landscapes.
My favourite egg painting yet Carol! Those shells are rockin'. Can't wait to see your plein air after your workshop.
Pretty eggs, love all those pastel neutrals, Carol! Hope it warms up in Sedona.
Wonderful. This is my favorite egg painting of yours (and I like all). Those planar shadows shapes on the eggshells = perfect.
I love this! I can sense the way egg shells feel when you pile them on top of one another. And the crisp light on the edges of the shells beautifully contrasts the gloopy-gloopy whites and yolks. Excellent as always :)
These eggs are glowing - nice!!
Love the color--Tess
Hello from Montana!
What can I say Carol, these are "good eggs" haha :O)
No really...I love them!
Its also inspiring to see you exploring other subjects. This must be challenging, since you work mostly from life, as we all should.
I'll check in later to see the images of your new work.
Thanks for sharing!
I think you should be very proud of every painting you do, you have an amazing talent, I never tire of looking at your work.
No one can paint eggs any better! The colors in the shells are beautiful and I love the composition. The fork is great and I am looking at it closer in hopes it will help me paint silverware!
Looking forward to see your new paintings from your workshop. Because I am a weather weenie when it comes to painting outside, I am very impressed that you painted so long in the pouring rain. Brave soul!! :-)
One of your best Carol!
I absolutely love the colors and depth in this painting. You're titles are always delightful, too!
Stay warm!
I LOVE this!! You are on fire!
Ok, filing away that weather report from Jerome. I LOVED it there!
Don wouldn't even have a beer at the old Saloon because driving on that hill freaked him out!!
I like the way your curves aren't - they are straight lines. Great stuff.
Lovely work, stunning. But I really hope you never make me breakfast.
