"All Yolked Up"

Tomorrow I am off to Sedona, AZ for a 5-day workshop with Jennifer McChristian. I am very excited and prepared to absorb everything I can from her about landscapes. In preparation I've done some extra still lifes so will continue to post while there. And if I manage to do justice to the red rocks I will post those too. I've got 2 buddies along, so fun will be had along with the learning. I am totally psyched!

Have a great time, Carol! Looking forward to the landscapes. I know you will share what you learn with all of us. Thank you for always doing that.

The color of this bowl is beautiful and the egg inside is perfect. You captured the fragility and the lovely colors in the white egg shells. Beautiful painting!

Have a great time at your workshop! Jennifer McChristian is a fantastic artist.

Carol, your art is so consistenly impressive. I always look forward to seeing your daily painting. They are always good! I'm so glad I was able to take a workshop from you last June in Salado. I learned so much and continue to do so as I look closely at your daily work, remembering much of what you taught. It's the gift that keeps giving! Have lot's of fun at the plein air workshop. I really like her work too! Can hardly wait to see what you learned.

hug!

I, too, have admired Jennifer McChristian's work. May you and your buds enjoy the field trip to Sedona!

Carol - woo! Just saw the trailer for Letters to Juliet (didn't spot your paintings (yet)). Everybody, it's coming out May 14th and it is an absolute girly go, bring tissues. Amour... Carol, you should be psyched and congrats again.

I was SO SURE that I had commented on this fabulous painting but..... I don't see me. Anyway, I LOVE the spot where the dark edge of the bowl is sandwiched between the egg and the beautiful teal color outside. Masterful!!!!
