(#998)
To add a little more to my story of the last few days, I went out to the hill country and did one day of plein air and one day of studio painting. I am sorry to say I didn't come away with any paintings. Or photos as I forgot to bring my camera. One of my friends posted about the trip on her blog, Hill Country House, and included a few photos of her own. It was quite a trip and one I won't forget anytime soon!

Thanks, Carol.........I miss you! Thank you so, so much for the gift of your time and your warmth, personality and generosity. Oh, did I mention skill, talent, wisdom and sense of humor? I could have gone crazy posting photos of your paintings - couldn't decide which ones.....but I sure love the one I came home with.I am so sorry we didn't get a group picture - thought of that last night. I guess we will just have to get together again someday soon. Thank you again! Ann
What a fabulous painting! All my favourite colours, excellent relfections and a general feeling of comfort, warmth and homeliness. Worth the wait!
Love those colors (as always)!
This one really jumps with color and reflections. Love it.
The ecomony of brushwork and lovely, lovely color are so wonderful! Love looking at your work.
such beautiful shiny apples! lovely!
This is one of my favorites. The reflections in that bowl are wonderful! Aluminum bowls are now on my shopping list! I am interested to know how you handled less than stellar paintings when you started blogging. I have been painting regularly but haven't been very happy with the work. Wondering if I should post them anyway and make use of the feedback?
I love the reflective bowl - really nice touch!
