In 2 days I'll be travelling to San Luis Obispo, CA for a 5-day workshop. Tomorrow I'll be packing up, but I hope to fit at least one more painting in.
I love your blog and your work. This piece is wonderful! I am going to post about you on my blog if that is o.k. If not I will remove it right away. Cheers, Dana
Solid, simple, direct. Nicely adjusted greyed-down complements. Always enjoy your fruta verde pictures like this one where you display the subtle warm-cool relationships within a basic cool local color range. Would like to see what you do sometime with more open leafy forms, crinkly and wrinkly forms contrasting with the turgid and perky.
Much success with your group in SLO this week. Don't miss having a casual and tasty lunch at the Firestone Grill on the corner of Marsh and Higuera. A lively spot any time of day. The pig sandwiches are as good as the salmon sandwiches. I'm told the tri-tip is very good, though I haven't tried that one yet. As you have several days, maybe you can try all 3. Also good salad selections.

Wonderful backlighting and shadows!
Like the way you've layered the backdrops and used the same palette for them and the pears.
Have a great time at your workshop!
Yeah, this one is special. Hope some of my AR comes in this week so I can bid on it. Would love to own this little jewel.
Great pears, and dramatic colour.
I've given you the Sunshine Award for positive and creative blogging.
I don't get to comment often, but I do love your work.
Take care,
Barbara
