"Hot Shade" - SOLD

As you might have read on my blog, I have been sick with the flu since my last workshop. Sick as a dog! I'm well enough now to post and answer email, but not enough to paint - yet - I am still a few ahead and will post those while I heal completely. I read that you're catching even before the first symptom, so I am hoping fiercely I didn't get anyone at my workshop sick!!! Speaking of ...

Dena's Bunkhouse is an AWESOME place for a workshop. Ok, minus the drafty barn and heaters everywhere and rain on the tin roof ... we honestly had a blast! And the best part was half of us stayed at the ranch every night, so we drank and ate and arm wrestled ... and other silly things I won't mention here. : )
I got 2 photos of my kids. For the one below I had to stand on a table to take it, so obviously ... I'm not in it. I just had to include the second, silly one where we are trying to get the ranch dog, Roscoe Parker, in the shot, but he wasn't having any of it.

So sorry to hear that you've been sick, Carol! We wore you out at the workshop last week. It was an awesome workshop, I had such a great time. I hope you feel better soon. Hugs, Lorrie

Glad to see you sound a bit better. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your workshop! I learned more in that 3 day period than I have in my last 25 years of working in Art.

Hi Carol,

Sorry to hear you've been sick. It is a really bad one, and lots of people have it all over the world.
Take good care of yourself.

Looks like a good group! Glad you are blossoming into sparkling health, Filbert!

Great palette here with the wee chili's (chilito's?) and elegant greys.

Sorry to hear you went down for the count... all that after you displayed such strength [arm-wrestling] and wisdom [painting] last week. What a trooper! Your workshop was wonderful... I'm ready to go again! Thank you so much! Be well and take good care. M

You just take good care of yourself and don't fret about the paintings.
Love these pictures of your class, and the glimpse of the dog's tail!
