"Red Stacks" - SOLD

I enjoyed painting the white group so much I thought I'd try some other colors. Here are a few red items from my collection. Today I also waded into a larger painting again, only to NOT wipe it off at the end, thank goodness. I still can't decide whether I love it, but I don't hate it.

This sounds terrible but I am so glad to hear about your frustrations, and failures with painting. It makes me feel a lot better about having my own wipe offs. What is the quote? Wax on wax off right? Oh yea and breath! Again thanks for sharing.

My plan was only to comment on the pieces that, for me, were really great. I had no intention of commenting every day! Stop painting so well please:) How can I paint if all I do is admire your work and leave silly comments?
(then again, how do YOU do it everyday!? you really are an inspiration..)

This is a knock-out (oooof!); great shadow shapes.

Personally: I always look at your work before breakfast; and sometimes I'm not in the mood to enjoy psychologically acidic apples, lime wedges, or more apples but tolerant of cherries and pears. This arrangement is perfect to start the day.

Absolutely beautiful reds. It can be tricky not to have pink in red paintings. As always, you accomplished this, too.!

I really love this one. The deep clear red of the bottle on the right contrasting the opacity of the others is so beautiful. It's like the light is bouncing around in there and leading my eye all over the painting.

One of your best!
