"Hanging Around" - SOLD

I swear it got dark today at 5pm. And I didn't think to snap a photo of this until 4:30, so it's a bit fuzzy. I will post a better one tomorrow - sorry about that! I'm really happy with the painting, however. It made me really think about color. I've always enjoyed the purple/green combination, but what makes me really enjoy this is the particular shades of purple and green. Most of the green is a bit warm, and the purple leans towards blue. Add in the turqoise cup and you've got something I strive to capture with every painting - that certain happy co-mingling of colors. Yummy.

Hi, I really enjoy looking at your paintings. I have written a little article on your works on my blog.

I love your use of color in this one. Looking at your paintings has really made me pay more attention to the color choices I make in my own. Thanks for all the inspiration.

I agree - these are some of my favourite colours together. The yellow pops brilliantly!
