Click Here to BidMy family is going to Germany for most of September. My husband found his birth parents there last year and we are going for another visit this year. I hope to be able to paint landscapes, en plein air, most days. Unfortunately I won't be able to ship paintings while there. We are leaving in a little over a week, on Aug. 31st, and I return Sep. 22nd. I will have my computer and will continue to post.

Maybe starting domestic first.. :)
What a wonderful sounding trip!
That sounds great. Have a super time!
I hope you have fun painting here! Thursday was the hottest day of the year (here in Baden-Württemburg), & now the weather is so pleasant.
This is so STRIKING! I love the cherries against the blue and the reflective surface of the bowl.
Have a wonderful, wonderful month, and do not fear that you fans will desert you! We'll be looking forward to the stories and great little paintings you'll do in Europe! Enjoy this time, and rest... you deserve it!
love your work with the cherries lately.....I live near Munich....it is really hot here right now. Have fun trip!
I cannot wait to see what you paint while you are here.
I too am of German decent and was raised by my favorite person in the world, my German Grandmother. I did make it over there a few years ago, but didn't get as lucky as your husband regarding finding family. So wonderful, enjoy your time there.
This painting is just beautiful as are your other artworks on this site. Thanks for sharing and have a great trip.
Have a great time! What an adventure.
Lovely luscious cherries, BTW!
Carol, Your paintings are so wonderful. I love the cherries.
I am also wondering how do you pack and travel with your oil paints. I am traveling in Oct and I don't know if they will allow me to carry my oils or acrylics.

Beautiful Carol! I love the reflected blue in the bowl.
Have a safe trip :-)
You continue to amaze and inspire—your work just gets better and better. It is so nice to see a humble, hard-working artist find such success--and in her own lifetime, no less!!! ; ) You deserve all the positive exposure you're getting. Have a wonderful trip abroad, and I'll be checking to see more beautiful work in weeks to come.
I've gone to Europe and just bought supplies there and painted and sent the paintings home---no problems with anything.
Hi Carol,
I love this painting!
