"Mama Pear" - SOLD

This is a relatively simple composition, but I really liked how the pear seems to be protecting the cherry. Makes me proud to be a mama. : )

Carol, I think what I truly enjoy most about your paintings is how much character is imbued in each of them. They come alive because of placement and the way the actors themselves are handled. You are a great director! The names are icing on the cake and I always enjoy that (makes me want to see the image once I see the name in my email..:)) This one really does have that Bear with Baby Cub feel to it! Also love the "Aren't We Pretty" group...Thanks for bringing your gift to the world.

Love the painting and the title :) I have been following your Blog for quite a while now Carol and I enjoy it very much. I hope I'm not being cheeky in asking but how do you get the white border surrounding your painting?

I love the "S" feel to the composition. Makes me feel like swaying.

Thank you all so much! Your comments are much appreciated.

Elizabeth, the white borders around the paintings are a feature built in to this particular template in blogger. I don't create them myself. Hope that helps. : )
