So, the next thing I wanted to try, was using the "real" colors as a guide, but adjusting as I saw fit. I didn't end up changing a whole lot. I did enjoy pushing some apples more green and some more yellow. This seems to lend itself to broader and simpler brush strokes, and I'm really enjoying it.

I love your apples to, Carol ... I thought they started out gree... as in unripe... and now are getting to be quite ripe.... I eat mine and start over long before that. :-)
