I just got finished boxing up 15 paintings! Wow and thank you to all who helped clear out my studio!!! Below is one of the paintings that will be in my upcoming solo show. It is 20x24in & called "How Do We Get In?".
OMYGOSH! What a huge leap and it paid off. Obviously this is a painting you have been holding back and now that its out, you must do more. The masses demand it.
How Do We Get In? - Oh, the title!! I just love it and it makes me look at the (incredible!) painting even longer, feeling empathetic to the plight of those poor apples....
Your use of complements is excellent in these, especially the apples. A study in excellence. We will be gone for your show..... Drat! Maybe see you in the fall.
Checking in on your blog I was happily scrolled through the items when this painting of the apples and the bowl grabbed me. I see I am not alone! Congratulations on this painting...and your exhibition.

Gasp!!! Incredible. You amaze me. That stainless steel bowl is perfect as are the apples.
"Cup of Glee" is wonderful. I love the shadows and the juicy berries. Can you tell us where your upcoming show is being held?

Love this, Carol- I think I'm going to try my hand at metal reflections, too, you make it look so easy!
Carol, I'm speechless! They are both great but the bottom one is crazy fantastic!!!! You just keep getting better.

Wow, there is something so Vermeerish with the textures, depth and colors, yet so loose and modern. The steel bowl is amazing!
awesome painting, Carol!
The metal bowl is astounding. Better than the real thing!
The nicest mixing bowl I have seen! Amazing!
