Today we are officially done moving every single last thing out of our old house. Yes, we have boxes piled up everywhere in the new house, but ... it is done. We will sign the papers next week and that will be a huge load off our shoulders. We have worked so hard towards this sale and it is such a relief to have it (almost) finally done.

Yay, Carol, how nice to have that burden lifted. We sold our house last summer and I remember that feeling. I love this cup painting. The colors are so warm and delish.
Congrats on the house sale and move. You must be so happy to have it almost finished!
I love this painting. The shadows on the wall and foreground are wonderful!
I love this painting, wonderful shadows, just the hint of the spoon and such sparkle. Congrats on the house. Soon you won't have two cups on your plate any more! (Sorry, just couldn't resist.)
Congratulations!!! And a fabulous painting too! XOXO
I've never seen a couple of cups and a spoon look so lively!
We moved 3 and half years ago and we've still got a garage full of boxes!
I LOVE this! All of your paintings are great but this is one of my favorites! The colors and composition are wonderful. Looking forward to the Workshop next week in Salado!
Blue skies!
I really like this one, Carol! The color harmony, the warm/cool, and the light are wonderful! Great feeling!
Hey Carol,
I LOVE the "Double Decker" painting...the colors really glow.

Such masterful arrangement of color and brushwork! WOW!
We are moving too! This weekend...not looking forward to unpacking either, but can you believe we will literally be 3 doors down from my Mom..I know, it's ok, we have a good relationship as does my husband with her :o)Happy Moving!
I love all of your works! and have tuned in my fellow classmates to your blog! I wish you could speak at my school, everyone would love that :D
This has a very nice sense of form. I also appreciate the restrained color.
Moving is such a burden. Congrats on getting it over with!
Love all the warm shades in this piece and that subtle, beautiful green under the saucer. You always use your highlights so judiciously. Love that in your work.
Which reminds me...I HAVE to attend one of your workshops!
I love this one!! Congratulations on the move.
Significant that your cups are stacked-- having "boxes piled up everywhere..."
