"Artichoke on Blue" - SOLD

This goes to show what being "too close" is and what a few hours away will do. I was really unhappy with this one, and bummed that maybe I had slipped back into my bad rut. Now I love it. Go figure.

Well, I misunderstood about the studio - they're pouring the slab toward the end of the week - they put in the forms today. Read more and see pictures.

Carol, really beautiful painting, as always! Congratulations on getting started on your studio! Thank you so much for sharing on your new studio blog! I can hardly wait to see more!

It looks great. I did a studio over my garage but still don't have enough light. I learned that you cannot have too much north light! I had a hill behind me, had to make do with eastern light, and now a developer has built a three story house next to me :) I think it's time to find a new spot!
Congratulations.

GREAT artichoke, Carol! And what courage to tackle it. Artichokes and pine cones scare the padoodle out of me...your distilling of what you see is just superb.

I'm so excited for you that the studio is underway. It will be fun to watch the progress.

Still very interested in 2010 when you get to scheduling.

Wow, it's great!
And I saw the photos of your studio-in-construction, it is exciting to know it is going to be there soon (I hope mine -a space in a room at home- will be ready soon too). I'm so happy for you!
