"Smells Like Orange" - SOLD

My temporary studio, until the new one is built, is in our bedroom. Unfortunately. It is a cramped space, but I painted there today and it will do. It was fabulous getting back to it, though I was a bit rusty, even after a few days. The room has a proper window - a couple of them - and the view outside is of trees. Lots of them. I love it.

awww. how cute. kinda like an easter chocolate treat!
temporary studios can work great...I'm all in my breakfast room, oils on one end, pastels on the other. Good thing we don't have sit down meals!

I like the combination of still life elements from your last couple of postings. Would you call this guerrilla painting...creation under adverse circumstances? Good luck getting settled.

Carol, I found your site through Carol Nelson's blog; a friend of mine. I absolutely love your work! The loose strokes really work. I'd say the temporary digs work well for you!

Looks like he's giving a Bunny Kiss to little orange. Love your new home with views of the forest.

I'm a big fan of unusual pairings. A bunny and an orange is a great one (or two).

I love the way you paint useful objects. So you are looking for new "stuff" to paint....my husband really likes the way you paint your husbands tools.
