"Obsession" - SOLD

I am currently in Salado, TX teaching a workshop. Above is a painting I did yesterday but wasn't able to post because I forgot my camera cord, dang it! Below is my demo from class today (sold) and a photo of the class concentrating on a 5 minute value excercise. They did great!

These are great and fun to see! Shame on forgetting the camera, that is for us old folk suffering from A.G.E. :)

I love the brush painting. That's so right -- it's an invitation in itself. You manage to convey so much in so few strokes. Looks like you had a great time doing the workshop too, that's a good photo of everyone painting and the pears out on the table in the foreground.

Enjoy! I know someone's going to buy that brush painting, it's tooo tempting to me!

Hi Carol,

I really love your style of painting. I am very much interested in taking your class. Unfortunately, I am in Orange County California. I know there is a painting in me. I just don't know where to begin. Will you ever think of having on line classes. I would love to learn how to paint by you.

It really looks like you get pumped when teaching. I am the same way. I am an instructor as well and one of the classes I have been running is a oil painting still life class. I hope that you don't mind, but I refer my students to your blog quite often. I find artists blogs so inspiring. I get so energized from instructing, I learn so much about my own practices when teaching others. Your paintings, I find, also reflect that same energy.
Keep doing what you are doing. Thank you for what you do.
