"Magic Grapes"

Every once in a while I finish a painting, step back and have no memory of painting it. I suspect someone else did this one. And because of that you won't think it awful of me to say I love it. It is a magic painting of magic grapes. I was supposed to do a self-portrait today - everyone in the daily painters group was - but I didn't. I can give you some excuses, but really I was just daunted by the task. Sorry about that. Someday I'll do one again.

Your works are awesome......it's amazing how leaving your brushstrokes loose makes your works so vibrant.

I have been here several times but what keeps me from commenting is that there's no provision for independent bloggers. I am new to blogging and have a self hosted blog.

My add is www.art-devine-slasher.com/blog. Hope you don't mind my putting my add here.

I would very much love to add you to my list.

Again, your paintings are lovely

These grapes are gorgeous!!! I love the colors in the shadow - turq./purple, and then you look at the great colors in the grapes.

Love how you have made the grapes translucent to show the light passing through them. Yummy!!

I'm sure it was you who painted it. Love it.

These grapes ARE magical and so luminous - I love the reflected turquoise in the shadows.

I really dig how the ostensibly round grapes are put in with squared strokes, and you've hit that "translucent grape glow" right on the money.

A stunner. Wish I had the $$ to buy it. What more can be said?
