"Grazing" - SOLD

A friend of mine commissioned a painting recently. She wanted one similar to one I did a while back with lemons. I ended up doing 2, to give her a choice, and she chose the other one. I must admit I liked this one better. But if there's one thing I've learned in past few years it's that everyone has their own tastes, and that's just part of what makes the world interesting.

You do such an amazing job with the reflections, let alone the orange slices!!! Were these oranges sitting on glass? Love them slices : -)

Great composition. I especially like the geometric abstract quality to it. I'm primarily an abstract artist so I always love seeing circles, squares and triangles in a painting.

Triangles tend to be tricky to design around but you handle the triangular reflection from the lemon slices wonderfully!
