"Good Day Sunshine"

Last week I bought these flowers and brought them home to paint something big. I finished a 20x20 and liked it well enough, but decided to do another small one for kicks. I happened upon this composition and was really struck by it, so I did a 12x12 of it for my gallery here in Austin. I liked that so much I did this one, changing the flowers a bit so it wasn't just the same. I liked this one so much I did another, 20x20 (not all in the same day). I'll photograph the other 2 and post them soon.

I love the simplicity! Red is one of my fave colors. I look forward to your daily paintings soooo much. I check about 5 times a day to see if you've posted a new one! I know you must be thinking, she's crazy! What brand of canvas do you use?

Thanks you guys! Sarah, I use Raymar panels. I used to buy my own canvas and stretch it, and I always used the thickest, best stuff from Utrecht and really liked it. Hope that helps!
