I'm very happy with this one. Thanks to all of you who wrote to me about skylights in the studio. Unfortunately I got mixed reviews. : ) Oh well ... I guess I have some time to think about it before I get my dream studio.

I love how the almost-red-orange kinda sneaks up on you. Another wonderful painting, Carol! You do have a well-developed sense of balance. Every morning I think your paintings are always fun to 'discover.'
I too, look forward to what you come up with on a daily basis! I have been following your blog for about 7 or 8 months now (shame on me for not commenting before now!) There are soo many things to admire about your work: Fun subject matter, beautiful color schemes, lovely brushwork, etc... AND you juggle a three year-old and some workshops in there! My hat's off to you! I Just started doing the blog thing, have two kids... thanks for being a source of inspiration and information. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! -Tom
