"Great Escape" --- SOLD

I forget sometimes to use gray to my advantage. (is it grey or gray?) If your center of interest(s) is bright and full of color, and the surrounding area is grayed down a bit, it tends to focus the eye. Which is a good thing in this case because I don't think I got the curve of the bowl just right. : )

Love it!! The soft, muted background so compliments the fruit and makes it pop, yet still is so pleasing and interesting without being dominant. Some softer edges too. Lovely!

Hi Carol
Everyday, I get excited to see what you post. You are one of my favorite artists. You amaze me with your fun compositions. When are you going to do another video demo. It is like magic watching your paintings appear. Thanks for continuing to inspire me!

Wow, this is a great one. I love how they pop.. and the brush strokes really make them look soft and somewhat dreamy. I especially like the bit of pink on the edges.

Darn, I'm hungry now. :P

These are amazing paintings. They capture the softness of the fruit so perfectly. I think it's the lack of the pure white highlight that makes these seem so convincing and so different from a shiny pepper or apple.
...really, really inspiring painting.

:) keep it up

..please.
