"Just a Pear 5" --- SOLD



Even though the colors are a bit more subdued here, I think this is my favorite of the series. I have one more that I am debating whether or not to post. It is the last one that I painted and my least favorite. We'll see how I feel about it tomorrow.

Not sure who else I could know that can paint five pears in a row and still entice me to open my email with anticipation every time. I think # 3 is my favorite. I like the pinky color coming through.

You nailed this one. Geesh that's good. Hey- could you post more in process pictures. Your pear looks like you did a burnt sienna underpainting but your shadow indicates not. Or you wiped the shadow before laying green. Or...

I agree with Lorrie, I love #3. It's the shadows, angle and the great color! But, all are wonderful!

Are you Pearilously close to over doing this pear study?...naw! They look great!
