"3 Red Pears" --- SOLD
My parents just left for a month-long trip to New Zealand - I'm so jealous. I dropped them off at the airport yesterday. But before they left they watched me do this pear painting. It always changes the experience to have someone watching, but I'm happy with the result. When I got home and tried to post my painting I realized the internet was down. So I waited ... and waited. We finally called Time Warner to come out, which they did - this morning. We went 16 hours without the internet. It was really hard. And that's why I'm posting this today.

Between this one and the last one, wonderful color combos! So lush!
I love the color and composition on this one!
Beautiful Carol
I love this one!! All the colors really pop, but still go well together, and you've got some beautiful thick brush strokes. Love it!
You're so lucky to still have your parents and to have them be so supportive of what you do. I love looking at your work. Wish I lived closer to you, it would have been wonderful to attend the workshop with you and Karin. It doesn't get any better than that. Barb
Hey Carol. Love the painting. Its so fun when you get to bounce light off off of objects - like the pears. You do it so wonderfully. aaron.
stunning color. Love it!
I ran across your gourd painting in this month's American Art Collector magazine... looks great!
Love this painting, love the colors and paint application! Wish I lived closer to you also so I could attend one of your workshops!
I am crazy about this one too. I love the brushwork and that patch of violet in the right corner just makes this composition. Beautiful as always.
This is one of my favorite paintings that you have done, Carol. Thanks for the inspiration.
