It always takes time after a break to find my groove again. I wiped a few attempts that were way too tight and picky. What's funny is that in order to get looser I actually had to make myself SLOW DOWN. Mostly to slow down and LOOK more, consider more, and make each pile of paint and subsequent stroke really count. No fussing afterwards.

Love the title and painting. Thanks for the reminder to slow down and consider. I’ve been finally painting but mostly fussing instead of painting the way I like. I found your book, Daily Painting, again. It got buried in the stuff I take to NM. I’m enjoying it and learning all over again.
