We are off tomorrow for a 4-day backpacking trip in the wild's of Oregon! If we survive, I'll be back to post on Sunday night. If we don't, well ... enjoy this red rose. : )
I googled an aswere to Julie Ford Oliver's question about why roses have thorns- natural defense to protect them from animals that want to eat them cuz they smell so good. So while you're out in the wilds you might wanna consider not bathing to avoid preditors...I wanna see more beautiful paintings! Selfish aren't I?
