I found these little (snow?) people at the thrift store last week. I was trying and trying to arrange them with this gold ornament sitting on the ground, to no avail. It was (yawn) so boring. I decided they were going to have to do some work for me and hold it up between them. And you know? they didn't even complain afterwards.

  1. OK, I have to honest, the first thought that came to my mind was "Oh, so cute!"
Than I made the image larger and got mesmerized looking at the brush stroke variations and the perfect reflections.
    Carol, you ARE a genius!

  2. What a great idea! I love the whole shape; and the implied tension of them leaning to hold the ball. Wonderful.

  12. Love this composition can I steel it to use with two little penquins I have? I have been trying to paint Christmas balls but it's very hard. My hat is off to you as usual.
