"Find Waldo" - SOLD

After much consideration I've decided NOT to bring my computer with me to Colorado. So, if you email me, please understand I won't be able to respond at all until around the end of June. And I won't be able to ship any paintings until then either. I've preposted for what I think will be the entire time I'm gone (unless things go awry or we decide to stay longer). I hope to have lots to show you when I get back. Until then! ps. Waldo is the third cherry (see title).

I'm curious about this title. I know you have a 4 (5?) year-old and I'm looking for the goofy guy with the striped shirt and glasses. Regardless, it's a beautiful painting!

No matter how you stack em,,,and this reflection of the cherries in the white cup....this creamy brown background...wonderful! Something came to mind about your post yesterday. I had a class once where we had to take the first piece of the semester and do it atleast once a week (some did it more often) until the end of the semester....it was a fantastic assignment and the results were out of this world. I occasionally
do this for a limited time frame
with a certain piece....works for me :) Have fun with your "Rocky Mountain High"....lucky girl :)

I love the reflections in the mugs! "Waldo" is adorable in his hiding spot. ;-)
JMO-Very smart of you to go on your painting trip "unplugged;" savor that time and we will love seeing what you bring home to share.
Have fun!

You know, Carol, I am learning so many valuable lessons following your blog. It is startling that you can find so many inventive ways to approach similar subjects. Its really not about the set up, those objects are just a wonderful excuse for inventive design. I never get tired of looking at your work!

Love the title (as always!). The cups are beautifully rendered. The cherries' reflections are subtle and the shadows are nice.

Have a great time in Colorado! Looking forward to seeing photos when you return.
