I almost didn't post this one. I wanted to keep it for myself. I LOVE the colors. But I figured someone else will like it as much as I do and that will make it all worth it.
Below are some student paintings. Today I tried something different and had them all paint the same subject: tomatoes. It was really cool to see all the different compositions and interpretations! We got the tomatoes and lots of other cool stuff at the farmers market this morning.
I love the colors too, Carol, and the student tomato paintings are beautiful and inspiring. We are getting those little pear-shaped cherry tomatoes at our food coop in Brooklyn this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI love that one too, Carol.
ReplyDeleteThe class paintings look great! Say hi to my friend Kelley McDonald for me -
I really like your blog because I appreciate art, but I have to say that this tomatoes topic doesn't induce my very much! Maybe as I don't like bright colors than I like the main core of the pain piece.I think our contact will be helpful for me (^_^).

I *love* the line up of student paintings! What a great assembly of little gems. Bravo to everyone (instructor too) for producing such lovely variety!
ReplyDeleteThese photos remind me of how much I enjoyed your workshop when you were here in Canada. I am still on a high for that week! I learned so much and my blog is coming along nicely because of it. Thanks
