I already named something Mango Tango, and with my husband out of town, I couldn't come up with anything better than this. Please come home sweetie! I painted this a few days ago, when I was doing mangos, and for some reason never posted it. What do you think - can green and orange work together??
Love it! Very arty. Name suggestion: Mango Tango.
ReplyDeleteoops you already did Mango Tango. How about Tomango. 3 Mangos and a Bowl.
ReplyDeleteMost definitely....I love that colour combination.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think orange and green is a great combo.
ReplyDeleteIt totally works. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I like the orange and green. You sure come up with creative compositions.
ReplyDeleteThe green and orange DEFINITELY go together.
ReplyDeleteYour video was TERRIFIC. And I am going to watch it again and show it to my art guild.
Carol,
ReplyDeleteI thought the video was really grand. I love the fact that your husband is a true collaborator with you and your work.
Just an update from a student...I'm painting every day! and maintaining a blog!
I start the day with you and end the day with you. Thanks so much for sharing your talents.

The green and orange work beautifully together because you also used green in the shadows of the mangoes. A wonderful painting!
ReplyDeleteorange and purple together work well. Azure blue and orange are perfect together I find. But orange and green together is hard to paint, you have cracked it tho. Really love this series.
ReplyDeleteOrange and Green together? Definitely -- just ask Gauguin! How about Tango Mango for the name? heh heh
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought green and orange would look good, but this looks very good. This orange has a lot of red in places (green's complement), and the green has some yellow showing (and is a mix of blue and yellow anyway) -- so it harmonizes. Too analytical? Well, it looks great.
