
I used foil under the lemon slices to get this effect, and a purple sheet of paper back behind the setup to get the purple bits in the ground. I got the idea/was inspired by this painting by Will Klemm who shows in the same gallery as me here in Austin.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of the paint brush turning whaen needing replacement. You're right; so often I continue to ground that perfect size brush into the ground until it's beaten up.
Patent that idea!
Love the foil effect on this one!BTW, on the last one, I also love the way you get your fruit looking solid with shadows and transparent at the same time.
