To set this up I took a sheet of glass and put it over a white piece of paper. I really like the reflections I get, but it sure gets complicated when you add the shadows into that. : )
This is absolutely beautiful. There are so many lovely subjects I want to paint that I skip all over the place, never really mastering anything. I admire how you paint the same subject many times to really understand its character.
What a cool idea to get subtle reflections. Not only are magical with paint, but resourceful too! This one's beautiful. I simply love the way you accentuate the hidden gem aspects of your subjects. You inspire me!
Nice job capturing the reflections. I'm glad I found your blog.

ReplyDeleteGreat job with the reflection
ReplyDeleteI just love this composition (especially pressure created by to border). The cool red background and shadows play so well against the apples.
