We all have our opinions about what constitutes art, and I'm not surprised at the mixed reaction they receive. <br /><br />But silliness, surprise and a modicum of discomfort work for me. Furthermore, I enjoy your 'silly' titles for your still lifes as well. I think of them... all of your posted work, as all of a piece. <br /><br />But maybe you could add some noir--darkness--to your repertoire?
