I'm finding t...Love the painting of the truck. <br />I'm finding the same thing about plein air painting. When I paint en plein air [in oils], what I'm painting more than anything is the light. And nothing quite compares to early morning light. In addition, in these hot summer days, it's about the only time of day I feel inspired to get out there. <br />My guess is most of your still life set ups are lit with a lamp cast like an early morning sun.
