Their Colorful Child

sold

This little family was enjoying some coffee and sunshine in Bryant Park behind the library in NYC. The background was super busy, but I loved the people, so I finally just decided to abstract the rest and leave the edges unfinished. In case you're interested, here's the reference photo -->

Your work is just beautiful. The way you capture all the detail, especially when painting people, really brings a realistic qualitfy to your art. Almost like looking a photograph. Thank you for your book, "Daily Painting." I have been wanting to get back into painting for years, yet always found the task so daunting. You really help make it a doable venture.
