"Lemon Reflections" --- SOLD

I used foil under the lemon slices to get this effect, and a purple sheet of paper back behind the setup to get the purple bits in the ground. I got the idea/was inspired by this painting by Will Klemm who shows in the same gallery as me here in Austin.

From your last post, Hahahahahaha
I LOVE the idea of the paint brush turning whaen needing replacement. You're right; so often I continue to ground that perfect size brush into the ground until it's beaten up.
Patent that idea!

Love the foil effect on this one!BTW, on the last one, I also love the way you get your fruit looking solid with shadows and transparent at the same time.

I reacted the same way Tracy did: HA HA HA HA HA! As usual not only did you paint a great painting but you CRACKED ME UP!
I wished you lived here on the Central Coast of CA, we'd surely be pals!
Have a good week
