My husband's ex-wife, Jen, and I are writing a book about our situation and how we've created a partnership/friendship for the good of our extended "family" (and us). The book is called "No One's the Bitch," (http://www.noonesthebitch.com) and we have this idea for tea parties we can throw where mothers and stepmothers get together and talk about their issues. I did this painting of tea cups we picked out together for...well possibly for the cover of the book. It may take several more tries to get it right.

I went to historic Elgin, TX with my plein air group today. It was VERY windy, and the sun kept going behind clouds, but we had a good time.

I found this "perfect" red pitcher at a junk shop on Monday. It was a little too pricey for me so I tried to bargain with the owner. Apparently it's some kind of designer pitcher and they wouldn't budge on the price. Since then it's been on mind, so today, Friday, I went back and bought it. :)

"Ranch Truck"

I'm going out on a limb here and posting a landscape. I guess you could say they're not my forte...but I try anyway. I belong to Plein Air Austin, and today our group went to this nice ranch near Kyle, Texas. It was very cold and would have been miserable except I was sharing the experience with all my lovely painting buddies. This is not for sale.
